talk'n'pick is an application that performs video summarization for busy people. Upon uploading a video via the native iOS application, video processing will be performed on the server side to intelligently remove parts of the video that are less important. It then merges the video back together to create a more compact video. Users can also search for and watch videos uploaded by other users. Braintree v.zero was integrated to accept payments from users who want premium features.

SNSHOT delivers onsite printing capabilities for venues, festivals, shows, special events, weddings, reception parties and more through social networking services (SNS) like Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Foursquare, WEAR, LINE and SNSHOT apps.
By picking up Estimote beacons’ signal at a venue, participants are able to receive special stickers and coupons as well. After printing the photos, one can also visit the special website to buy limited novelties personalised with your photos, with payment processed through PayPal.

Promotes OSS contributions on github issues through reward-based incentives.
#Detail
Anyone can donate for each specific issue on github. The system accumulates money for each issue and shows them on the github issues page. Anyone who has an authenticated PayPal account can send pull request for the issue and apply for the reward to be accumulated. Sendgrid is used for delivering notifications and receipts once the pull request has been made.
This system motivates potential committers by a little bit of donation, which might cost as little as a glass of beer.

BattleHacks are full of 24+ hours of awesome stuff. In general, on Day 1 registration opens, you arrive, scope and share skills, create teams, meet judges, and then our gong hits and hacking begins. Add gourmet food, food and more food. Hack through the night, or grab a nap, beer break, and maybe even a massage or two. On Day 2, we have rehearsals, more food, and hack till you hear our gong, signaling the end of hacking! Teams present their apps, judging occurs and prizes are awarded.
